Saturday Solitude: Finding Stillness on the Mountain

Happy Saturday, dear friends!

As we enter this weekend, I invite you to join me on a journey to find stillness and peace within. Today, we'll explore a guided yoga nidra meditation called "Finding Stillness on the Mountain."

Subscribe for free to receive stories, insights, and practices (that go beyond the basics) to help you move beyond your past and create a life you love—on your terms.

This practice will guide you through a visualization of a tranquil mountain clearing, where you'll experience the unique energy and sensations of each season – from the vibrant renewal of spring to the quiet stillness of winter.

Throughout this journey, we'll work with imagery and symbolism connected to nature, including:

  • Mountains: Representing strength, stability, and a connection to the earth.

  • Seasons: Symbolizing the cyclical nature of life, change, and renewal.

  • Breath: Our anchor in the present moment, connecting us to the life force within.

  • Sankalpa: A heartfelt intention, like a seed planted in fertile ground, ready to blossom and grow.

If any of these elements feel triggering or uncomfortable, please feel free to modify the visualization or simply rest in a comfortable position, allowing the sound of my voice to guide you into a state of deep relaxation.

This Yoga Nidra practice is designed to help you:

  • Release tension and stress

  • Connect with your inner peace and wisdom

  • Cultivate a sense of grounding and connection to nature

  • Plant the seeds of positive change with your Sankalpa

No prior experience with Yoga Nidra is necessary. All you need is a quiet space where you can lie down comfortably and surrender to the guidance of your breath and my voice.

Are you ready to embark on this journey to the mountaintop? Let’s begin…
