I am slowly learning to settle into these sessions. I can definitely see why this is a "practice". I need to practice a lot. 😉 Thank you for providing some calm to my increasingly anxious heart and spirit. 😌

Haha! I still have to "practice" a lot, and I teach it 😉 I'm grateful that this practice can support you when needed.

I am always amazed when I listen to your guiding voice on yoga nidra how my body and mind have an immediate sensation of relaxation. My eyes seem to close on their on accord and I can envision everything you say. The background music is soothing as well to me. Truly my words escape me trying to tell you how at ease I become. After each time I listen to one of your sessions I can actually feel my stress leaving my body and its as if I can physically see it floating away. During my lifetime I have experienced this sensation only twice before over 40 years ago, but even then not as immediate nor stress free as these sessions have. Thank you Alex for rescuing me from becoming too wrought from stress. I “hope” you are well and the upcoming holidays bring you joy and peace. ❤️🌼

How did I miss this comment! UGH, notification fail.

Thank you for such a beautiful articulation of how you respond to this practice. I'm so grateful that these practices help. Out of everything, I've found Yoga Nidra the most consistent practice for myself (and many of my clients) to create inner peace and truly connect with bliss.

I can't wait to do more of them.

I've done this yoga nidra at least 3x already. I always fall asleep right about the time when you introduce the hot air balloon, and have the greatest floaty dreams. I wake up refreshed. This is particularly helpful on those nights when I wake in the middle of the night and can't get back to sleep.

As a perimenopausal woman, if I have a glass of wine, or something sugary sweet at dinner, I wake up at 1am without fail and have a hard time getting back to sleep. That's when I practice Yoga Nidra. It's been a game-changer for my perimenopause symptoms. I actually don't get mad when I wake up anymore. I get excited cuz i get to do yoga nidra...and I never feel like I didn't get enough sleep in the night.
